The
elegant, skilfull processed chair of 1981 born designer
Vladi Rapaport impressed the jury (and the chairman).
I hope it helps to find the its way to the Moma
or to the front rooms all over the world. A short
statement by the master himself:
I find it interesting that the way people are using
their product depends on it's form and shape. That
you can make up your own stories and feelings about
product and have a new experience of it because
it looks like something familiar.
In my work I'm trying to combine a products with
a story in a kind of illustrative way. So that the
product can make you develop your own relations
with it, according to the way you using it or the
way the product looks ,and still be a comfortable
product.
